David Petie: Home
David is a writer, photographer and musician based in North Wales.
Having written for a variety of magazines on topics as diverse as music, business and photography, David is always seeking new challenges. He writes for Maverick on a regular basis, a monthly country/roots music magazine, and has been lucky enough to interview some of his heroes, such as Emmylou Harris, Ralph McTell, Albert Lee, Peter Rowan and Mary Black.
David also plays guitar, mandolin and banjo, and is the scourge of many open mike nights and folk clubs across Britain. Having played from Richmond up to Glasgow, from Beverley across to Ireland, David has guitar, will travel. His most requested song is still Father Ted...
David has developed a talent for recording and mixing, either as a sound engineer or as a recording engineer.
